Delivery Manager – Data
« Back to searchAbout us.
We’re dynacart, home to hundreds of thousands of products from thousands of brands that are available across our worldwide network of B2C websites and B2B platforms.
We’re a global team of super-talented people, and we’ve been helping customers say yes when it matters most for two decades. In that time, we’ve consistently reinvented our business to adapt to economic conditions and industry changes – moving from payments technology into e-commerce websites and B2B platforms.
But despite our passion for reinvention, we’ve never wavered from our purpose; to make good things easily accessible to more people and to help businesses and brands to grow online. It means connecting our customers with brands they will love and an outstanding shopping experience.
We’re fired up for the future and the next stage in our development. We’ll give customers access to more great brands for themselves and their families, a seamless shopping experience and even more control of their finances through innovation in flexible ways to pay.

About the roles:
We’re looking for a Delivery Managers for our Data Engineering team. For us, a Delivery Manager is accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services.
Here you’ll have hands-on experience across a broad range of products and services, delivering throughout the entire product life cycle. You’ll be accountable for the team’s output and will be the main point of escalation.
You’ll work hand in hand with our Product Managers and Technical Leads in order to influence and define a path to meet our commercial aims.
The role sits within our Data Engineering function, as part of a brand new MarTech Squad.
MarTech
This is the way that Data>Insight flows to action within our Marketing Function and is at the heart of dynacart’s strategy. From PPC for acquisition to CRM for retention, the marketing technology and data is crucial.
These marketing data platforms (MarTech) comprise a number of elements, including:
• CRM & Digital Campaign Management Platforms
• Ad Tech Platforms
• CRM Activations & CRM Campaign Management (aka CRM Hub)
• Channel Systems (such as SMS, Email, Push etc)
• Marketing Measurement & Tagging Systems
• Data & Insight flows into and out of MarTech systems
Across each of these we are working to continually improve our estate, and to build cutting-edge technology to enable technology professionals and dynacart as a whole.
Scope of the role:
We need your help maintaining delivery momentum at an Expert level. For us this means you know how to optimise the delivery flow of teams. You’ll be experienced in actively addressing the most complicated risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team or where no clear ownership exists. We need the right person to help identify innovative ways to unblock issues.
As an expert in Agile and Lean practices, you’ll know how to coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices already. This role needs a recognised expert, someone that advocates these approaches, continuously reflects and is able to challenge the team.
Here you can create or tailor new ways of working.
To be successful in the role, we need a top communicator, someone who can mediate between people and mend relationships, particularly someone who is confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels. As you may imagine, our stakeholders expectations are high and we’ll need you to facilitate discussions about high risk and complexity even within constrained timescales.
We want to be known as the best in class for this space, so here you can speak and represent the community to large audiences inside and outside of dynacart.
Of course though to be successful in this role, it’s safe to say there is a fair amount of Planning.
Can you process in a very complex environment? Can you plan beyond product delivery? Can you can identify dependencies in plans across services and coordinate delivery?
All this comes together and runs smoothly with Process. Here we’ll need you you to identify and challenge organisational processes of increasing complexity and those processes that are unnecessarily complicated. You’ll be able to add value and have the ability to coach the organisation to inspect and adapt processes.
So can you apply experience of multiple parts of the product life cycle? Can you recognise when it is right to move forward and when it is right to stop? Can you can recognise the appropriate deliverables and the right people to meet these? If so we need you to help work with other agile delivery operations throughout the product life.
